That's because Kobe has never guarded a relevant scorer in his entire career nor has ever guarded a scorer even remotely within the same universe as KD. Guarded AI once against Philly, got cooked and they switched him. We're talking about the same dude whose defensive job against Boston was giving Rondo a fukking 15+ foot cushion of space.
