Sometimes a player needs to be in certain atmosphere or element to thrive and get the best out of them. Look at JR in Cleveland. He was an important piece to them winning that title down 3-1. Even though we knew he had talent he was on the verge of being black balled by the league because of his off the court issues and knucklehead play on the court. Don't count this dude out just yet because this might be the atmosphere that gets the best out of him.

He showed alot of potential that year when he went to train with Hakeem and was traded to Denver. He was essential to them making the post season that year where they faced the Lakers. He was going toe to toe with prime Andrew Bynum in that series. This guy is no Gasol, DJ, Cousins. or prime Howard, but you are underestimating what he is able to do on the court. I never said JR never had good years but he had issues off the court and did antics on the court that almost got him black-balled.

If you want an accurate player comparison, look at Birdman Anderson on the Heat championship teams, McGee could be a better version of that for the Warriors. They're not going to be asking to him to post up and beat anyone 1 v 1 with technical skills, he literally just has to be an energy guy, compete on defense, hustle for boards, set screens and roll to the basket
