I said before the season that a team with Javale McGee on its roster would never win 23 games. But I was wrong. Will never doubt this team again...

Javale McGee has an elite skillset but he has virtually no basketball IQ, Steve Kerr has managed to get him to buy in, he's in better physical shape, he's less of a liability on offense, and he's a very good inside defender which is something they didn't have last year. Assuming he doesn't get hurt, he will be an invaluable piece in the Playoffs.

You don't think Steph and KD will make the game easier for him? I have to question your B-ball knowledge if you don't think that is the case. This guy will get alot of open looks base off the attention those two will attract from opposing defense. Those guys are not Lebron but both of them are top three players who can create for others besides themselves.

I could see him being a difference maker here as a role player

Kerr got alot out of someone like Mo. Playing for a purpose on a contender helps focus guys. And Kerr prob runs one of the most laid back locker rooms in the league. I think Javale can respond well to that, he doesn't fit with some a$$hole demeanor coach like Karl or Carlisle imo
