Will there be enough food or jobs in Africa for all those damn kids?

All I see is more suffering ahead unless African countries can get their act together. The models for development is right there--you have a handful of countries that have gone from third world to first world in 30 years (Taiwan, South Korea, China, Japan) and many, many more who started off poor but are now middle income (SE Asia, South America). We just have to adopt those models to green tech, AI, etc... In my estimation, the only Africans who have proven themselves competent in running a modern nation state are Igbos, Ethiopians, Rwandans, and Mauritians. Everyone else is looking very fragile and weak, especially Nigeria (the only people who should be reproducing in Nigeria are Igbos, everyone else is a parasite).

We need to develop quickly, before climate change renders large swathes of Africa too hot for human habitation.

You're putting Nigeria up as a Model? I mean yes Nigeria is poppin' but there's a civil war there that wouldn't be happening if the powers that be actually gave half a fukk.

As far as food there's plenty of that and can be way more if they built better roads and did better reasearch into seed production. The issue is Africa kinda lets the west feed them instead of delevoping their own food. Nigeria imports rice which is crazy.

I can't imagine how Nigeria can support such a large population. India is much larger than Nigeria and it is so overcrowded. You can fit Nigeria into India more than three times over, and despite its vastly greater size its population of 1 and a quarter billion is too damn big for the amount of land the country owns.
