Jay-Z probably put the album on hold once it finally hit him that he signed a 40 year old hipster who rhymes about dinnosaur fossils to his label.

He'll probably end up getting dropped within the next year so don't expect to hear the album anytime soon. Best case scenario is they let him take some of the tracks he recorded with him out of pity like what Aftermath did with Stat Quo.. at which point he'll release them as a glorified mixtape when he's pushing 50 years old and noone remembers who he is.
