Promotion of an idea is an action. And depending on the idea, it could be a bold action. Let's not act like MANY people through history haven't died over things they said/thought/beleived but didn't DO. And if speaking on it on twitter is so easy and unimpressive, how come none of these other rappers do it?

When you really think about it the one who got the most to lose from this move was Jay Elec. His rant risks alientaing some black fans, alienating some white fans, fukking up sponsorship opprotunity and putting him on the radar for any groups invested in surpressing the voice of smart black males. .

I agree with this...if the person has enough influence, at a certain point just speaking on an issue counts as action.

Trayvon got murdered because black crime is so widespread that white people automaticly think "he is probably a criminal" when they meet a young black person on the streets.
