Dope album. My only complaint is the Most ODB sounding delivery Room clean did on the title track.

Telegram, Vice City, and money trees deuce were my favorites.

TDE believes their own hype

They're a group with one star like Destiny's Child

Q is arguably as big as Kendrick :usure:

Soul is still low key but he has alot of fans, as he should, since he is (maybe was, since he hasn't dropped a project nearly as good as control system) one of the most skilled lyricists in rap.

Rock is still searching for his lane, seemingly. :francis:

I don't know how anyone can fix their lips to hate.
This album is hard.

Rhymes ? Check.
Beats ? Check.
ill concepts ? Check.

This is a good effort and not remotely close to "bad".
TDE's track record is fukking mean if we're being honest here.

I'm kind of disappointed at this overall. Not feeling the Freeway voice thing he's doing on a couple of tracks. I gave it the whip test and this shyt failed miserably. The beats just don't BANG for the most part. I really only liked the first song (can't remember the name), Gumbo, and Money Trees 2. Outside of the god awful title track, the rest was just ok to me.

Listening to full album for the first time. Don't really get the people who complained about Jay Rock "changing his voice" on twitter. I mean this still sounds more like a Jay Rock album than Kendrick, Q or Soulo album. And more importantly it sounds like a west coast (gangsta rap) album too. Not as 'traditional' west coast album as his debut but then again that had some southern-ish beats too.

as someone who started checkin out for Jay Rock sometime around 07-08, it's dope to hear how much he has improved since then. but tbh, he had improved back when he dropped his debut too, ppl weren't just paying attention like that.

really good sophomore album. Follow Me Home was dope too but lil bit too long. Then again this could've been a couple of songs longer :manny: can't complain about the quality at all though.
