90059 is my shyt. Rock was the 1st one I was listening to real heavy as far as TDE is concerned. Back when I watched that low budget blood walk video, lol. That being said, like somebody said, he's clearly been bitten by that Kendrick experimental bug. The change in his adlibs, vocal alterations, Freeway like rhyme scenes (taken to the next level), and more. Now, it's working for his flow and bar wise. 90059 shows that tremendously. 90050 still gave you that Jay Rock feel along with that though, like he wasn't too far gone.
That's not to say he's too far gone now but I feel he bout to fukk up the balance he had on 90059 and go full throttle in one direction. I hope I'm wrong though. King's Dead is a dope track. I just need a Future-less version, I'm sorry. I'm not really feeling "Win" like that but I understand what he's trying to do. We'll see though. I don't need him morphing into Kendrick lite tho. Sometimes, all I want Mr. Kung Fu Kenny to do is just shut up and rap like he did on Nosetalgia with Push.
