I'm Hard Like D-Block Readin The Book Of Enoch...
Not a big fan of this off first listen. I was expecting something way more hard.

ditto,it may not have been a 'hot seller' but i thought 90059 twas much better then this joint,it seemed liked he caved in to make a more accessible Schoolboy Q esque album..

just seems like they could never get the right formula with Jay Rock or Ab Soul when it comes to sales,i could fiddduckin care less, but i know others will judge upon that criteria..

why won't/don't they make an official Black Hippy album..?

I couldn't make it through the whole album I remember a lot of random beat changes + kendrick jibberish and songs that left me :russell: damn felt way different than gkmc in a :russell: type of way
it is very different than gkmc, but I feel it had so much variety...,and was one of my faves that year...I just don’t see how someone could say it’s unlistenable. :yeshrug:

I mean I don’t expect everyone to love it, but to me it’s his most accessible album...which by default should mean it’s easy to listen to.

It's far from unlistenable..I think GKMC and TBAB are better projects though. And to keep it a buck I like Redemption better than DAMN
I don’t know, tpab and untitled are my least favorite from Kenny. Maybe I need to give both a spin again but neither had replay value to me

Don't like the way he switches to that freeway high pitch voice/flow. It's like I'm listening to a completely different rapper. Trying my best to get over it cause the beats and bars are dope

This shyt is dope and all the beats are on point. I didn't expect it to ride like this. Not really into the radio attempts but everything else ranges from solid to great. For What It's Worth, ES Tales, and the title track are major highlights.

Yall throw the red flag on me if I'm outta bounds but...this is basically what I hoped Oxymoron would be. Some straight up gangsta shyt over beats that ride, and straight up snapping on nearly track. Thematically the opposite of GKMC.

If Snoozeberry Cole would let other people produce his album and just black out :banderas::blessed:I could go back to stanning for him :mjcry:
