I was 100% wrong about SZA's rollout no doubt about it. Soon to be three plat singles and the album will go plat soon. Ill accept my L.

BUT I'm still gonna say...not sure about this Jay Rock. The cross promo for Black Panther and the Jay Rock album is dope but I'm not sure how I feel about it as a first single. Jay Rock is dope on it, and the chorus is cool. But the Future feature seems like a stretch and is wasted. They're trying to sell Jay Rock and I'm just not sure this is the way. Nobody checking for him outside of fans...just give him some tde features, some that make sense (Nipsey, Gibbs) and dope beats. No need to try for the fences with what I assume is a throwaway DAMN beat.

Seems like an odd collection of people to be promoting a blood from Nickerson Gardens album.

Gotta respect the loyalty TDE is showing to Jay Rock here. Got him on a major label and Interscope will be rolling out the red carpet for him now. Hoping the project is dope and they let him be himself.

I hope this is the one for him and he does numbers. He is a proven beast and his music is dope.

He also updated his Formula and is not rapping like a typical west coast MC, he got more with the times on his 90059 album so I can't wait to see what he does on this one especially with Interscope behind him too, seems he can't lose.
