I'm still mad at that snippet being absent of the final product though... :beli:

Maybe he didn't fukk with it anymore, but it sounds like it could have been one of the best joint of the whole album... :noah: Jay Rock is excellent on these slow jams (Money Trees, Gumbo, Fly on the Wall, For what it's Worth, Broke +-...).

I don’t wanna believe that... he’s shown he’s more than capable (He’s given us damn near classic songs and bars ) and I think he’s second behind Q (neck and with Q ... and K Dot is third in terms of talent) ... he has it in him ... again , he’s just being failed by his label.


But you’re right ... this album isn’t IT... and I was really hoping it would be.

Why do you think it's the labels fault? He's clearly got access to the same producers and features as every other TDE artist. He even got the major label stimulus this time around.

I must have listened to this album like 10 times now, there's not 1 song I don't fukk with. "Tap Out" is probably the weakest but it still rides.

This is my favorite release from Rock. pretty good production there are times where he sounds a little to kendricky but it works for the most part :ehh:
