Speakerboxxx/TLB has 91 on metacritic, won album of the year at the Grammys and obviously rap albums of the year as well and ended on top of several album of the year lists.
Stankonia brought forward the whole weirdo thing in hiphop, the whole hipster movement, the mixture of several genres, the obscure sampling, uptempo edm inspired shyt all that..

.Southernplay..'s impact and influence is not as obvious, but imo it gave the south it's own identity, the sound of the dirty south with the guitar riffs, deep bass etc. Essentially the album that put the south on the map and showed them that they don't need to give two fukks about the east or west to make moves nor need they seek acceptance for their music.

So now critics dictates if an album is classic? Actually, I can agree that TLB made a lot of rappers want to sing and harmonize waaaay more than they did before. It also introduced the ambiguous yet harmonic melodies but since they decided to release it with the spkrbox...nah doesn't count. Forget classic album, name me one classic song on spkrbox that is still played and remembered as a great hiphop song now?

Southernpl was classic in your opinion due to the reasons you mentioned. Not regarded as a classic by many other listeners which contradicts the meaning of a classic. Scarface, UGK, 8ball & MJG, Ghetto Boys as a group, K-Rino all had albums before Southern that made some noise before the album came out.
