I see some of you are confusing the issue. The issue was Jay fronting like he was like the owner of the team when in reality he has a very small part in the ownership of it. There would be no backlash if it wasn't for the perception that he put out. He's just trying to save face now that the public has a better understanding of his role in the team. It's not far fetched to call him the mascot because they are using his image for the team. That may be offensive to you but that's what it is and it's no different than a endorsement deal where artist are the face of products. The product just happens to be sports related so the mascot analogy applies.

What you idiots need to do instead of clapping for his minimal share just so you can say a black person has some power is boycott until you get it. Yous idolize the players and support the merchandise so it's only fair you should have ownership. You buy the hats, the throwbacks, the video games, the shoes, are the majority of the players etc. Instead you applaud this punk who is happy to take peanuts even though the team is seemingly being built around him.
