Yes I know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm so tired of his fans saying that shyt just because he has the wool over y'all's eyes and not mine. Like I said, they aren't involved in no charities. They think cutting a check is being involved and socially aware. And it's not. They get tax write offs for that. And anybody can speak on shyt. It's nothing to say words. Talk is cheap. Politicians do it all the time, and you expect me to believe a rapper like Jay Z is sincere? Especially when he's a major part of the problem. And how do you know these "socially conscious" rapper are just here to sell a few records? You don't know what work they do in the community everyday. Simply because they don't get media coverage for their efforts. A lot of them do put in work in the communities. They don't talk it, they just do it. Actions speak louder than words. And the people that make real social change gets no coverage or credit, because of the "Jay Z's" of the game.
Excuse me for actually thinking for myself and not being a follower of the crowd or believing the hype. I have living history in my family. My pops grew up and lived in this civil rights shyt. He had to ride in the back of the bus, drink from the colored water fountains, use the "colored" bathrooms. Go to a non-integrated school. His mother having to enter thru the back of the restaurants and eat by the kitchen just because she was a black woman. My parents were here for Malcolm X, MLK and all those events. So you can't tell me a "Jay Z" cares.
1. I don't give two fukks about what your parents did, most people in here's parents from the south did that, you are not special.
2. Them giving a speech is not going to help anyone, it'll just have the media focusing on the wrong things.
3. He donated and raised millions for Obama (which can't be deducted) who want's to drastically decrease the tax deduction of charities and increase the taxes for the 1% in which he belongs to.
And normally to the most common non-profits when Jay donates 1 million bucks, he can deduct about 30% of that given that he actually receives a "private income". So he would still be paying 700k for a his million dollar donation, so if he wants to pay a million all he has to do is give like 1.40.
In other words, the state will sponsor your donation, if you put 70% they give you the 30% missing. It's not like you are getting free money, making a profit or anything. Also when he sponsors kids to go to college, shyt like that isn't deductible and when he donates through a company, the rules are stricter and more.
4. And I don't know what these d-league wack socially conscious rappers are doing they might be putting in work, but the ones with recognized names are really not doing shyt. They are making money by creating entertainment of peoples misery, I've even seen them asking for donations for themselves. Might post a bit on twitter, that's about it. D
5. A lot of people contribute in different ways, certain people like Bill Gates dedicate their lives, others like Jay-z dedicate money and support others dedicate their time.
I don't see why one should rank them, just appreciate them all cause none of them owes anyone shyt.
And you won't even hear about all the shyt these celebs like Jay, Beyonce etc are doing. Not even half of it, unless you know people or dig very deep.
