This is a fair argument. But I cud argue Vol. 2 Jay had a better flow. Lyrics may not have been as potent but not far behind RD.

Still...if u hear early Kane, Nas and Redman, they sound on par with their first album. Pre RD Jay was like a 3 then he became 4.5 in a flash. Only other person I see do that was GFK.

Word, Ghost was one of the weaker members of the Clan. Aside from Bring Da Ruckus and Can It Be he was dropping struggle bars like the Protect Ya Neck verse. Then Cuban Linx comes around and BOOM.
