I think yall confused on what biting is. Jay z if anything help add to Biggie legacy

Jay legacy dont change if he left Big in 1997. But jay quoting meaningless lyrics for the most part kept Biggie name attached to him the higher he got in the game.

Weirdos tried for years to use that as an excuse to hate on Jay.

Like every damn MC in the history of Hip Hop doesn't pay homage by quoting lines from the greats. He was clearly quoting B.I.G. to honor him, but they'll act like one of the nicest MC's to ever live needed lines from someone else to catapult himself to greatness, lol.

never noticed how his career kinda mirrors jordan :dead:

took a few years to take off, then had a huge championship run. "retires", then comes back with another successful run. achieves peak commercial/business success, become the defining name of their craft. then there was the magna carta/wizards era :mjlol:

Mike was still nice on the Wizards though.

Jay's Magna Carta era was more like Mike trying out for the White Sox minor league club, with that Birmingham Barons bullsh*t.

:mjlol:deflect, deflect, deflect.

FOH.

Dude got a million classic records before and after Chris was around, but yet, his "whole style and flow" was stolen from someone who said that's not even true? Y'all gotta stop hating on dude and just cope with the fact that bro is one of the best ever. 20+ years later and y'all still trying way too hard.

The same rapper you just stretched the truth for calls Jay the GOAT.
Does it change the fact that he STOLE HIS FLOW? You tell me?

No GOAT steals flows.

Fu-Schnickens - Stole the flow (can't be disputed)
Young Chris - Stole the flow (can't be disputed)

Top 5 sure, but not the GOAT.

Rakim on the other hand, now that's a GOAT right there.

I love Jay.

I got at the very least two dozen lp's, 12''s, singles, cd's etc. This isn't hate, I just don't believe you can take flows and be considered the leader of your craft?
