Jay is not a helluva performer.. but his shows are so great becuz his music translates better to put on a live show more than any other rapper.
I always said Nas music doesnt translate to live performance. Maybe if Nas included his hits like You owe me and stuff like that...

lacks something for me bro, just sounds wrong
I think the live band sounds sort of "off" when watching videos... But when you're actually at the concert in person the live band is what makes the show.

Grading a show of a video clip is asinine, specially a hiphop show.
You've got to be at a show to actually know if the person is good or bad.
Roots, Wayne, Kanye, the whole clan together, Jay, Snoop and DMX are the best performers.
Perhaps busta too, but I've never seen him on a bigger scene.

Ive seen all you mentioned perform numerous times.. well Snoop only once and he was pretty good
