I've seen both Jay and Nas like 8 times at least and I can honestly say its not a regular thing at all. Unless one assumes how he does One Mic is forgetting lyrics.


Even Jay's had moments where he forgets rhymes and throws it to the audience. Theres a few Youtube vids out there of it

When you have so many rhymes and they're very intricate, of course you're going to forget some. It's like juggling 9 pins on a unicycle, that sh*t takes mad concentration, it ain't like today's rappers with adlibs and a few rhymes here and there. Sh*t takes a lot of studying, that's why i big up Hov for performing those B-Side Concerts. You're performing verses you hardly or NEVER do for the first time. Can't fault Nas or anyone that's a wordsmith for that. oh well.
