Jay may just be a cool dude when you actually meet him...Beans was going hard at Jay and Dame, next thing you know Beans is on stage hugging Jay like his long lost father..People diss Jay because he's at the top but when they meet him they seem to flip.

Beans dissed him because he called he cops/security on him at the show in Philly. He reached out for that one show, but they haven't spoken since.

I think it's moreseo that the hip-hop industry is a secluded sec, and Jay is so distant from them, that he has to pop up from time to time to at least stay glued to his roots. when he does, it's like seeing Bigfoot.

Nah, I think the thing is most of these dudes when they see Hov it goes like this...

Joe: :birdman:
Hov: So what exactly is the problem here? :jbhmm:

Joe: :dwillhuh: :lupe:

Hov: :jbhmm:

Joe::yeshrug:

Coz I mean, when you 45 year old grown men, you look at these past beefs wih the cold light of logic and suddenly realize how stupid it all sounds in retrospect.

wonder will 50 ever get this message...

It's crazy how Jay became this mythical figure in rap :wow:

His image management is fantastic. Makes himself above these "mere rappers "haha

The team he came in with 20 years ago was great as far as pr, promotion, marketing etc.
So his team now has to be nothing short of amazing.

It just makes me think about the "Streets Is Watching" DVD days when Jay was already talking about retiring. It was just an insane thought, but it just added on the Rocafella mystique. Like, do these nyggas really got it like that where they can just hop and hop out? :ohhh:
They were messing with the fans heads, he was already placing a premium on his mere presence. I don't even think he was platinum yet, but he was on some "Ya know rapping is cool but I ain't gotta do this shyt, I could be doing other things with my time".

These rappers act like he's hip hops Pope something ... :mindblown:

The power of repetitive Suggestive language over a fukkin beat is amazing ... he's talked down to these rappers for so many years while mythologizing himself then he backed it with wealth and the programming was complete . Jay took the white man's blueprint and bamboozled the hood and its rappers with it... it's like they grin from ear to ear hoping to appear inviting enough to get sprinkled with some "Jigga water " so wealth will just fall out of the sky for them ...

I knew shyt was bad when NORE was riding Jigga during that bleek interview on some :whoa:
"Jigga I don't want no probs. . Don't blackball me... I thought I told the story right ... how do I fix this ? And I couldn't believe he actually called me! :krs:

Meanwhile Bleek listening like :

:pachaha:

:jawalrus:

:myman:

:sas1:

After I heard that , it added another nail in the coffin symbolizing that the game is over .
