Cmon... we all know Jaÿ is not going to overstep on the self importance of RD30 with a new album.

Im curious if he has the balls to perform it in its entirety at a festival with some hits sprinkled in

Maÿbe later on after self celebrating RD30 hes gonna come out with new stuff but before that no waÿ josë

Yea you probably right…although I personally don’t see the big deal considering we just celebrated the 25th anniversary

As far as having the guts to perform it we can’t discount the noise around the versus. We know by now he hears everything. He’s gonna put on a show

The 250 dollar ticket price is reasonable (no pun intended), but I don't know if I can do the festival shyt of standing all day for a performance

Which is what I’d advise. There’s 2,3 other stages but it ain’t worth losing your spot. I usually get there around 4,5…..I’m getting there at 1 Whoever playing on the main stage that’s where I’ll be allll day.

Last year the rain wasn’t the problem. People have been going to festivals in the rain for decades

The problem was it was cold. Almost June, but it was cold af.

There’s nothing wrong at all with Roots

The only thing that’s changed is 1)yea they got more popular so it’s a bigger area. Less intimate if you’re watching the main stage (but still way better than an arena), and 2) The culture as a whole has gotten more cynical, naggy, etc.

I've been somewhere between 12-15x and the newer people nagging past few years has definitely been a deterant. I bought my cousin a ticket one year, and she complained about the sound and setup...all while she's near the Mann stage, mad she couldn't hear the main stage. Last year I laughed at those complaining about the rain and mud...it's an outdoor rain or shine festival in a park lol

Parking is gonna be worse this year...they're gonna have to cut off most of the park pathways where people usually enter and park.
