I felt that way in my early 20s

Went to the Picnic in 2011 and 2012
Made the mistake of going when the gates first opened, and by 5PM I was drained, ready to go

At least they have seats now I guess....

Roots picnic is slowly approaching Lauryn Hill concert status where the people who complain about it but keep going are annoying af

What do you mean? Does GA not include access to the stage Jay will be performing on? Are tickets separate for Jay’s show? How does it work

GA is everything. There's multiple stages and you just walk around, and move through the crowds to get a good spot. You pretty much have floor seats if you're there in time. The GA+ area is separated, but you won't be able to see the stage directly, but you'll have chairs, shade, prob A/C, some food and drink vendors not in the main area. BUT you'll only be able to see the performances on screen, except for when you leave that area. Then there's VIP that contains all of the above, but you can see the main stage...and the celebs will usually be back there.

Outside of GA+/VIP, you'll be standing and walking around a park...in the grass, no sitting areas, no cemented area...and if you're old like me, your legs and back will be aching after 6-8hours...depending on when you get there.
