Public defenders scam ignorant people into taking a deal. 3-6 months in jail on a misdemeanor is better than the 1+ year of probation plus fines and terms that are easily failable its retarded.

thats up to the individual to decide, if you are retarded and cant stop smoking weed, get a menial job and report then yeah you shouldn't take probation. on the other hand there are some people that float through probation easily. either way, seen a lot of people go to trial with a paid private attorney after paying 5-6 figure fees and it didn't work out for them :yeshrug:

So what would you like the NFL to do with the nearly 100 million they have already allocated towards social justice? You want them to put it back in their pocket? Should they give it to trump?

Do you not realize the money is already allocated due to their deal with the players association? This stuff is already happening. Jay and his team will make sure the fund is used on the right causes and he is has a pretty good track record recently on these things.

100 million is a drop in the bucket for the NFL. But that money will change real lives for regular people and charities in need of funding that do real work in black communities.

A significant amount of that $100 million (over 10 years) you speak of went to an organization that Rocnation manages. I'm not suggesting that money is being mismanaged, but from a tax standpoint, Rocnation reaps significant financial benefits from that deal.

And like you said, that deal is already done with or without Jay Z taking this new role.

Also, can you run down Jay's track record of overseeing the allocation of corporate funds to the right causes?

Well it's their job... Jay is an entertainer, he's not bound to any social activism if he chooses not to.

well he chooses to so idk what point you are making, there's thousands of people who do what he thinks he is doing with less resources and no acclaim for it lol.... because they chose to as well. its a job, not slavery lol

So he should have just let the system to do what the system has been doing to black men for the lease 200 years?

Absolutely not. I have no problem with him helping his rich business partners financially. It's the right thing to do. But it's not philanthropy. It's ordinary shyt.

All I know is he helped them. You can call it what you want. You didn't do it and neither did I do I don't feel the need to bash what that man is doing with his time and money.
