Pac yes, Nas no, which is why I have him one spot ahead.

If we going off how dynamic debut albums are then where are we ranking Snoop?

:mjlol:

My objective criteria looks something like this for an all time (not favorites) list:

- Skill set
- Versitlity
- Impact
- Influence
- Longevity
- Body of work

According to that I got Jay and Nas at 4 and 5 respectively. He's easily one of the most well rounded artists to ever grab a mic.

jay got streets songs and club songs, that's about it (there will be a few exceptions but not many) explain to me how this is consider versatility

nas got street songs, personnal songs, storytelling songs, deep songs, political songs, love songs, biographical songs... not to mentions he got featurings with a lot of various artists, far more than jay and he managed to not be out of place

so let me take your criteria again

- Skill set - nas was and is a better rapper than jay point blank
- Versitlity - as I said before nas is more versatile, the suposed jay is versatile legend came out because he adapt a lot of beats, but so can Nas. But Nas can adapt a far more type of songs
- Impact - they both got it, nas more on the rap game itself, jay more on the general music culture
- Influence - jay got this one, but more on the music business, nas got it more on the evolotion of rap itself
- Longevity - nas got this longer
- Body of work - nas got a better discography, jay is out of touch since the black album basically
