Young people love Jay, and he gets the same amount of hate from them as he gets from older people who are the ones who started this absurd Jay hate.no he cant...the new generation dont respect jay...jay is only still popular because all the popular artist keep him up on a pedestal
"Take down Drake" like this kid is some evil super villian lol smh
He's making great music and defending himself when he has too
His only true rival is Cole imo
Jay couldn't end Drake, I don't think any rapper can honestly. Maybe if 2002 Eminem reappeared but present day Em sucks and nobody else really could get at him hard enough.
Drakes situation is different cuz his team is so on point he's been guessing right every step of the way. Even his new style which I don't really fukk with almost everyone else does. Like the one dude said Wayne fell off because he tried to be a rock star and ODd on that lazy flow, Ye fell off cuz he started making weirdo music, until Drake goes in the wrong direction musically he's gonna be around.
I hate on Drake for being the reference track king but at the end of the day if his team puts out piff I'm gonna bump it. For Free was piff to me. The difference between me and his fans is I'll acknowledge that in all likelihood he prob ain't write it.
I think Drake is gonna self-destruct Wayne style- oversaturating the market with songs and the quality is slipping.
With that said, Jay has nothing to gain from beefing with Drake. If he wants to preserve his god MC status he'll look weak/odd going at Drake, a cat widely rumored to not even write his own stuff. Plus it's been SO long since we've heard Jay get legit aggressive on a track.
Would be fun to see though -old school vs new school/ I was just thinking about this yesterday.
i don't think jay would get blackballed at this point brehi agree, i don't see him getting into a rap beef. i think if he really called out Drake he'd get blackballed. Jimmy Iovine fully supports Drake and he'll do anything to make sure he stays on top.
Dont ever open Photoshop againthis is what I picture when I read the thread title
