Yes it does, lol.

Speaking of hits since you brought it up, does Jay-z have even one Number 1 song without an icon singing the hook/him being a feature? No disrespect, asking seriously. I'm sure Beyonce is one of them icons. Even iller, how many Top 20 songs does he have in his career without an icon carrying the song? I remember Flex talking about this on the radio so I know I'm right, lol, you can do the research tho. Jay-z is that guy, don't get it fukked up...but he's no Drake in terms of hits and the shyt you talking, not even close. He's no Kanye either. Or 50, in terms of Number 1's. Etc... Like somebody said, he's Triple H...he aint The Rock or Stone Cold or none of them, in terms of hotness/hits.
Lol if Jay HHH Nas must be Xpac

Most 18 year olds aren't checking for Jay-z either champ, lol, he's old enough to be their grandpa literally.

In hip hop, Jay-z and Nas are definitely the same tier in terms of respect and adoration...you can argue Nas is more adored actually. Jay-z has had more radio success with his music (Because a lot of his music was specifically made for radio) but what does that mean exactly? Nas has sold millions and millions and millions of records, outside of America the hip hop crowd views him the same way we do here, as one of them ones. Yall be acting like Nas is Canibus or somebody sometimes on here, lol, you better check that discography and add up them numbers, they're heavy.

Different "stratospheres' is false, just because maybe Ellen or Oprah knows Jay-z's name more than Nas's doesn't mean much...there's a lot of outside contributing factors you have to take into account for why Jay-z has a bigger name that have nothing to do with hip hop. We're talking hip hop.
I’m in the tech field and I’m in a tech side gig right now and there’s 2 young nikkas I lead. Both 23, one from Harlem and one from Yonkers. Both got Nas as the GOAT no bullshyt. Harlem nikka thinks IWW is the greatest hip hop album ever.

I know its the day after Ether Day and all but seriously who gives a flying 747 fukk what Jay-Z does and does not do on social media?

That man won at life. REAL LIFE. We all could be much better people if we strove to reach a level where social media meant absolutely nothing to us
Facts.

Facts. I mean, If I had BEYONCE as a wife, I don't think i'd ever be on social media. Why would you choose to be on twitter, instead of spending time with her? or your kids?

Part of the reason people are so insecure and struggling with mental health issues now is because they spend all day reading negative stuff directed toward them online. Choosing to keep that negativity out of your life doesn’t mean your weak or sensitive, it means your smart.

I don’t care how much money or success you have we’re all human, and seeing hateful comments directed toward you is going to have some impact on your psyche.

shyt literally has zero effect on me, lol. I hear you tho, generally speaking you're right...but not everyone is like that. I don't be giving even a little bit of a fukk. I guess it has something to do with how you see yourself, self esteem type shyt, if your self-esteem is already shaky then seeing somebody say some bad shyt about you could really fukk up your day/life...even someone as successful as a Jay-z.

This whole Ether day thing is corny and shows the dysfunctional behavior in our culture.

These are BLACK legends that reconciled 15 years ago and have grown to be publically cool with one another FOR YEARS now. Showing forgiveness and unity to the culture.

Yet you still got people on here being stuck on belittling and hating on the other side they chose during their beef while both of them are the cream of the crop hiphop has produced.

We have the honor to live in their lifetime, there will be a time the next generations will only get to hear about Jay and Nas like how they will get to hear about Pac, Big, DMX, Prodigy, etc

It’s been 15 YEARS..

Yet people still stuck on this behavior.
Making threads shyttin on either one of em not identifying this dysfunctional behavior as self hate and KOONERY.
Actively tryna devalue these two amazing assets of Black culture SMMFH
