Me and my pops ain’t on social media, maybe because we are too busy for dumb shyt. And the fact that Coli folks are pulling up to give this line of thinking some credibility lets me understand why this forum is falling off. Nas fans on the other hand just like to jump in and shyt on Jay at any opportunity. For folks who claim Jay lost the battle y’all really keep him on your mind a lot.

I think people like Jay-z would get it a lot because he's full of himself...that one Live or whatever that was that he did he called himself a genius or sumn, lol. Him, Kanye, 50, etc... They're so full of themselves it's naturally gonna make people wanna bring them down a peg and tell them the truth about themselves, no matter how petty it is.
I doubt Nas ever gets any negative comments (outside of Kelis fans when that story was hot) because he's madd humble.

And comparing Jay to Kanye is disingenuous. Kanye is insane, or at least likes to pretend he is. Jay-Z hasn’t done ANYTHING on the laughable c00ntastic levels of Kanye to not be able to big himself up.
Nas is my favorite rapper and yes he comes off mad humble but Nas has also had his moments of self proclaimed greatness. He was asked point blank if he thought he was the greatest lyricist ever and with no hesitation said “Yes”.

And Jay's mental health probably thanks him. Seems like a very reasonable reason not to be on it. Also Jay-Z is one of the fortunate artists to be big enough to not need social media. Anything he does will be spread on there like wildlfire regardless.
