Frank denies snitching on anyone but dirty cops, but Richie Roberts said that is "simply not true." My point is, Jay's a smart man and I think he knows better because of course Lucas will take offence to this. Yeah i know he said, "Like Frank Lucas is cool" but it's still a diss sorta. Line always been on my mind that's why i felt like I had to talk about it. But let's move on, still A1 song.

I'm talking iconic, career-defining hits like 99 Problems, Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Izzo, or Empire State of Mind. I'm not saying in order for an album to be a classic you have to have those, but it would have been the slice of cake AG needed to make it less of a borderline classic and more of a certified classic.

this was jay trying to revisit that RD state of mind in a far removed setting, the promo (and thus the outcome) was way different for AG than it was for BP3.
