"I dumb down for my audience"

Audience refers to anyone listening. Jay was probably referring to Nas fans because his lyrics always flies over their heads and he has to dumb it down for them.

Ol' what did Jay mean by that a$s nygga

To double his dollars. He doubles his dollars by proceeds from people buying albums and going to concerts.

He started dumbing down on Vol. 2, and that's when his sales took off into superstardom. Most of you camel dikkriders didn't buy Reasonable Doubt and Vol. 1. He's talking to YOU, camel stans.

"Ballin til they ban us, you gettin too much bread they try to jam you" :steviej:

"Hear the freedom in my speech" :noah:

& I think the dweeb line was directed at the nikkas making fun of his .000000001%

:blessed:

Nas stans learned today

Naw, Nas stans learned yesterday like the rest of the world that Kris Humphries gets more off the Nets than him:noah:

I'm fairly certain Jay is the only rapper ever who can kick a rhyme thats not even a full song length, its basically a little teaser, and garner this much attention, good and bad.

This even made the NY Daily News. Props to Jay just for rising to a level where the world is hookd on to your every word.
