I never really got "Pro Black" Jay from 4:44. He touched on some of these subjects on American Gangster, but AG was an overall better album. 4:44 sounded like an updated Vol. 1 to me minus the misfires on Vol. 1. A lot of it sounded like "You Must Love Me" where he was more so confessional and the music had the feel of that song too. For me, it had the same feel throughout, which led to it being an overall boring album for me. The songs below were nice though:
