but frankly to me even if jay was good on the blueprint, kanye and just blaze made the album for me, vol 3 was probably the last album were I was checking jay for his lyrics and flow after that, the production start slowly and slowly to be the interresting thing about his album, until kingdom come were the production was not enough to hide his flaws
I always thought they both absolutely killed it, was surprised at the chemistry they actually had on the track. I always enjoyed Em's verse just because of the flow, but Jay's second verse was some of the realest shyt he's spit in his career. Show's how far they've both fallen when you look back at this.

I liked Em's verse on the first couple of listens but after that I always liked Jay's verse more. He was really spittin imo. Any fan could hear it any way really, but to say he got murdered is crazy.
