True, he is a Pop artist. He's a Pop artist that notoriously dissed other Pop artists though. He was like the Anit-Pop Pop artist if that makes any sense. At one point it was his niche. He even dissed Rihanna on the album previous to the one she's featured on. That's what makes "Love The Way You Lie" a sell out move.

Him having a Beyonce feature would be a crossover move, because the strength of having her on a hook gets him play on stations that would've never messed with an Em record before. If he did a song like "Cocaine" (his unreleased record with Jazmine Sullivan) featuring Beyonce, it would potentially be a huge record on R&B stations and Hip Hop stations that haven't really played Em like that.
