A huge part of the Versuz appeal is reliving hits, and giant moments in hip-hop culture, and even pop culture more generally. Versuz as a platform was never about "pure rap shyt".

You might like Killer Mike and RTJ more than Jay's catalogue, but if Jay puts Big Pimpin, or Hard Knock Life, etc, what does Killer Mike have in his catalogue to compete with that with the world tuning in to watch?

If you mean better rapper, than I agree. But if you mean actually being an MC and controlling the crowd, than I disagree. Because I think if you just played the Lox and Dipset Setlist to a room full of people, Dipset would probably win.
