You're right as far as being bigger as a brand ... Jay has done that to a T .. he doesn't dilute or overxpose his brand. So if he does any show its a bigger draw than someone who does shows all the time. However still doesn't detract from the fact that in 2013 more people want to consume a Drake album as opposed to a Jay-Z .. and I'll still say even a Lil Wayne album. Lil Wayne still is in the POST GRODT phase (Massacre phase) that 50 went thru. To Negros he's done but to caaacs he's stilll on . If you think about Jay-z Most of the things making headlines and having us talk about him isn't even music.
Who's buying the music though,my little niece want Drakes album and she don't even like rap,and I know other females who fuk wit drake but don't really listen to rap....same goes for Eminem fans,Lil Wayne in his prime hell yeah....but RAP fans buy Jays album,u don't gotta be a 5 percenter to do the mathmatics
