He has a point though. Agents, although not financial advisers, were just doing deals, collecting their percentage & that's it. To agents, they may several clients & these athletes are basically expendable. They can continue to reload & reload on athletes.

Even though Ari Gold was a fictional character based off a real life one, he was the best agent for his clients. He really went to bat for his clients in damn near all aspects. That's what Jay is saying needs to happen & he's saying Roc Nation Sports can do just that. Only time will tell....

He wasnt putting all the blame on them but at some point they should maintain some responsiblity. You're doing everything to get these nikkas money (b/c it's beneficial to you) but nothing to help them keep and/or maintain that money.

And it aint like they have to do much...shyt just setting up the contracts so the player isnt receiving it all at once and maybe have some of those "AI clauses" would do wonders for some athletes.
