If I'm not mistaken. I heard Paul Allen's sister is not too enamored with sports? Hov buying in, might make a good marriage between the Allen's and him. Plus with Seattle politics, it would be a smooth transition. The Allen's could remain a major stake holder, but maybe allow Hov to run the football business part of ownership.
You know what you make alot of sense.Plus the Russ/Ciara dynamic as well.I don't think Hov is a minority owner just to be quiet I could see him literally hands on. Remember he is only 49 and always wanted to be into sports .

I see both sides if not him then who? I never been big Hov fan but damn it this dude makes moves.NFL ownership is no joke.Imagine Hov at owner meetings with Jerry Jones :heh:

Hov will not a majority owner of a team, so he won't be attending owners meetings. If he does it'll be in his "social justice" role. Minority owners dont be at owners meetings

According to The Coli Hov gentrified Brooklyn... :russ:

Somehow, singlehandedly, he gentrified one of the hottest beds in real estate in this country. Ok boys, time for y'all to log off and get y'all asses off the internet. That's enough for today.

Not going to get on the Kaep subject but Hov doing what you and probably 99.9% of the people would do “ what’s best for his brand” if you see an opportunity to take your business to the next level then you doit, as far as what transpired behind closed doors? I don’t know I wasn’t there. He been preaching that self growth by any means for years, so a move like this is expected from him. I wish Kaep the best.

If he signed a deal with the NFL I wouldn't care. He has a business that represents several NFL players so making a move to strengthen his brand is fair game.

The issue is he was just telling people not to do business with the NFL before the Super Bowl, bragged about turning down doing business the with NFL himself, and did all that in the name of Kap. Now you're saying we're way past kneeling and doing business with the NFL and in order to smooth things over and not look like a hypocrite you do so under the guise of helping them combat social injustice.

This is a self serving move by the league and Jay. Let business be business and don't pretend that this move was done altruistically.

THE MOVEMENT WAS NEVER ABOUT COLIN KAEPERNICK.

SALUTE TO HIM FOR BEING INFLUENCED BY BLACK LIVES MATTER AND DECIDING TO USE HIS VOICE TO BRING ATTENTION TO POLICE OFFICERS KILLING BLACK PEOPLE, BUT WE GOTTA GET OFF THIS HERO WORSHIP AND KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE.

COLIN STARTED KNEELING IN PROTEST BECAUSE OF POLICE KILLINGS OF BLACK PEOPLE THAT WASN’T GETTING THE ATTENTION IT DESERVED.

NOT BECAUSE THE NFL WASN'T PAYING HIM OR ALLOWING HIM TO PLAY.

THEY STOPPED PAYING HIM, MOSTLY BECAUSE OF HIS PROTEST, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT HE WAS KNEELING FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE.

HE AGREED TO A MONETARY SETTLEMENT FOR HIS GRIEVANCES, SO HE’S BOUGHT AND PAID FOR.

HOWEVER, POLICE OFFICERS ARE STILL KILLING BLACK PEOPLE AT AN ALARMING RATE AND THE NFL HAS DECIDED TO PARTNER WITH JAY-Z/ROC NATION IN AN EFFORT TO BRING MORE ATTENTION TO THIS ISSUE, WHICH IS WHAT THE PLAYERS WERE PROTESTING FOR ALL ALONG.

LETS WAIT AND SEE WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP ENTAILS BEFORE DOING WHITE FOLKS JOB OF TEARING DOWN ONE OF OUR OWN.

IF WE KEEP PROTESTING FOR THINGS AND NOT BEING SATISFIED WHEN OUR DEMANDS ARE MET, EVENTUALLY WE WILL LOSE THE POWER OF PROTEST AND WILL BE JUST LOOKED AT AS CRYBABIES WHO’RE NEVER SATISFIED.

IF YOU AREN’T SATISFIED WITH THE RESPONSE TO YOUR GRIEVANCES, BE MORE SPECIFIC IN WHAT YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR NEXT TIME.

THE NFL DID EXACTLY WHAT WE ASKED FOR.

Kap and Reid split a $10 million settlement. So Kap got $5 million. That's bought and paid for? :dahell: In NFL QB terms that ain't shyt. Chase Daniel is making $5M as a base salary to be backup QB for the Bears. Kap is better than most backups and some starters in the L right now. So all he got for losing his career was one year salary of a backup QB -- and that's "bought and paid for" to you? You sound dumb as fucc.

And how is Jay partnering with the NFL supposed to "bring more attention" to police brutality? How could it possibly get more attention? Who in the world doesn't know that cops are still shooting nikkas? Anyone who watches the NFL and knows about the protests knows about this problem. So what is this partnership going to do? Let's call it what it is, it's Jay getting his bag and the NFL making a slick PR move. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nobody ever claimed he singehandedly did anything. He was clearly used as the black face though

Right.. as if Jay is the one who gets to determine when it's time to "move past" kneeling or any other form of protest. The camel really got some nerve :scust:

This is about the dumbest thing I have read on this site in a long time.
