So MJ and Magic ownership inspires people?You can't be serious. Optics. It gives more black kids something to aspire to. When you don't see people that look like you in high ranking positions, you feel like you can't attain that level of success. How could you say somethign like that?
MJ and Magic have made a lot of money from owning those teams and have also employed many black people. Not only that, they have made countless donations and have charities that help black people. So, what does ownership do for black people? Is that a legit question?

When did I say it should be celebrated? I’m laughing at people being upset over this but then turning on their TV to watch an NFL game

I have no problems with that. There's reasons for all those relationships going south. Dame was a liability, Beans couldn't stay out of trouble, etc. It wasn't all on Jay and let's not pretend that industry relationships are forever.

You are confused as to why having ownership power is important? Are you that dumb? The league earns billions and is 70% black with no black representation in ownership. That's how colin got black balled to begin with.. there was nobody black at that owners table to object.
You want more black business firms to get contracts with the NFL? You want the NFL to respect it's black players and fans? You want them to have a bigger impact in their local communities? Well it starts with ownership. Some of yall seem like you prefer if old cacs stay in control of everything.

BUT we'll finally have black representation amongst NFL team owners which are mostly white. Then there's the NFL social injustice initiative where he plans to give players (including Kaep- but I'm not sure how that will go) a platform to talk about social issues. Even if his ownership percentage is small it's still an investment that will make him money. Based on his past & present moves, he's shown that he's capable of using his money to shine a light on or at least try to help our issues.
