My thing is, most of the angst come from the league’s black players. Its all about tossing them a bone, doesnt have shyt to do with a base thsta already won over. They dont want anymore Kenny Stills, Eric Reids or Kaeps. They fear the black players uniting around this

That's not going to stop the same black players who have an issue with this from voicing their issues. It's not going to stop the black players who just want to keep their heads down and making money from doing that, either.

What it will do is give the NFL's allies in the media and their fans ammunition to shout down future Kenny Stills and Eric Reids.

It's the "white people in power" playbook, and it's been going on forever, but especially since the Civil Rights Act was signed. Give black people (or just a black person) a breadcrumb and then beat all black people over the head with their "generosity" for eternity.

Of course its not going to stop the black players...it will be weaponized against those players and any player who speaks up going forward...and thats THE point...not white folks

We are saying the same thing. You are saying who will use this as a weapon in their hands (white folks). Im concerned and focused who that weapon will be used against (black players) “we gave you niqqers enough!!”

:gucci:

You can't be this stupid or this unable to read that I said this very same thing - except of course, who is going to weaponize this against the players? WHITE media. WHITE fans. Jesus Christ, breh. You can admit that you might have been wrong.

I'm just going to assume that you secretly decided to agree with me, but you're trying to save face and not admit it.

Anyway, I'm done here. I'll just state that no one should ever underestimate how much white people want to perform their lack of racism for other white people for any number of reasons. I think half of Twitter is posts with performative "I'm not racist" shyt from white people, and most of that is to convince other white people. Again, I go to white people claiming that they're not racist for voting for Trump because criminal justice reform or low black unemployment or whatever. It's not about impressing black folks, it's about convincing themselves and other white people who disagree with them that they're not racist.

This is the NFL 100th season last thing they want is a bad PR nightmare .So league rather Jay z become first black owner to show "Hey we aren't racist Jay z is in good ol boys club". If Kaepernick comes back it would be the biggest story outside of 45 leaving office early .NFL settled basically telling Kap here is your check go away you think they gonna bring him back? :heh: if you sued your employer for discrimination and they give you the bag would you think they would or should hire you again? :russ:

Somebody might have already said this, but they're not paying Jay-Z off to get black support. They're doing it because Jay gives them cover with white people.

"Oh, the NFL can't be racist, they're working with Jay-Z." It's a move to give white NFL fans another point to use as an argument in favor of the NFL and to support white logic (which of course differs from actual logic).

They don't need cover with white folks :mjlol:

White people already think "NFL is 70% black players, got black coaches and GMs, how can that be racist".

And yet you think that they are going to appeal to black folks with this. :mjlol:

When are y'all going to get it; white people only care about how other white people think about them. They don't give a fukk about what a black person thinks about anything.

This is a move for white suburbanites and self-proclaimed liberals who think the racism from the league is too obvious.

Think that the NFL gives a fukk about what black people think about it, brehs. :mjlol:

Somehow, Roc Nation agreeing to advise the NFL on entertainment bookings and concerts while collaborating in advancing both social and racial justice has turned into..

“Jay Z and the NFL are trying to end racism”

Roc Nation already had a growing relationship with the NFL. This is just Jay Z hate. That’s fine. Just say you don’t like Jay Z and be done with it lol.

You think Nessa and Eric Reid are speaking out because they don't like Jay-Z? Right is right and wrong is wrong.

It's fukked up but the NFL was concerned about Kap because it was offending their white fan base, so they had to make that problem go away :francis:

Kap wasn't even starting before the shyt happen

Every black QB get shoehorned out the league while mediocre what QB's stay getting jobs this shyt been happening

It ain't gonna change without black owners and black coaches supporting the black QBs it is what its

Rodger Goodell cannot a force any team to hire Kaepernick that's not his job

Where was the protest when Vince Young couldn't get a job and was forced out the league
fukking Colt McCoy is still in the NFL about to start lmao, you think he would still be in the league if he was black

Like said, either rise up in the organization or abandoned it all together, thats the only choices

all these shyt these nikkaz is saying is emotional baby talk

I don't know if you noticed, but a large number of the black players already didn't want any smoke with the NFL. The mentality of hunkering down, or worse, doing shyt like hiring a white conservative like Frank Luntz to help you plan your moves.

This isn't shutting Eric Reid up - look at how he's responded. It's not going to stop Kenny Stills from saying what he wants, and in truth, the league doesn't care what he thinks anyway.

This is just PR to make the NFL "safe" for white fans who don't want their favorite league's racism to be too overt. If no one noticed Kaepernick kneeling in the media, white people wouldn't care and the league wouldn't care. The NFL is a bunch of old white dudes who don't give a fukk about what their black players think or what the black fans think.

They do care that they can "prove" to white fans who are turned off by the NFL being overtly racist that they really do care about racial equality. They do care that they can give their rabid white fans talking points to use in order to shout down any dissenters on social media or in real life. This is performative shyt for other white people.

I'm not repeating myself again. Y'all can pretend that these rich white owners give even a little bit of a fukk what any black person, player or fan, thinks about anything if you want. I don't know why you want to cling to the idea that Goodell or his white supervisors give even a hundredth of a fukk about what a black person thinks, but go for it if you want.
