Jay Z tour flopping ? Tickets not moving... dates being cancelled

Every comment I read from people who went to the show on IG said it was a dope show.

People in here saying that jay isn't a good performer has probably never been to a jay concert

I said this before.

4:44 albeit dope is not a stadium album. Its almost like a project you would visit like a book tour.

Also, touring in the midst of Rolling Loud taking their festival global is something else.

I could see him doing a series of Tiny Desk type intimate concerts and charging $2000 a ticket.

200k/night...then tell stories about Biggie and Pac.

Next album, call up Just Blaze & re-unite with Kanye....you got enough buzz to do the stadium tour.

I don't know if "Freedom" counts since every song on that album charted. If not, Eminem's "No Love" from 2010 is Just's most recent hit.

Thing is I find it extremely funny how the brokest people have so much to say. It never fails.

I've been to several and I helped coordinate some of his earlier shows when I worked for MTV its not a knock against Jay he is a hell of a performer, I was speaking more to the tone of the album itself.

I listened to 4:44 its not the type if albums that's bumps on stage. Its a headphone type album.

Exactly. That album isn't made for large, arena type concerts.
Jay could do what Prince did, and perform the album at smaller, more intimate venues.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the $17 tickets or other lower priced ones are tickets purchased in which resellers can’t move.
No way Ticketmaster decided to lower a Hova ticket to $17.
The majority of the good seats are sold & those are all running around $200+.
