Lol that argument don't work. Because people have different opinions, and I can respect a REAL person's opinion even if it is differs from mine. If someone said Jay is the GOAT I don't have a problem with it, I'm a Jay fan, with all the albums and even the book lol. Which was ill. What I'm saying is the stans are fukked up. And those with not enough knowledge to speak on both. I know about BOTH artists in depth, heard nearly every song they have ever done. So have the knowledge to compare, and I'm not being extreme saying one is shyt and the other the great, cause that's ignorant, they both are ill, both are great. Pac dissed Jay several times but gave KRS props numerous times, in interviews and in songs and in person too. Don't mean I don't like Jay cause Pac dissed him.
And actually some of them DID list Pac, such as Chuck D.
And Spice 1. And some of them worked with both, such as Kurupt. And Scarface too, these are Pac's people. Treach one of Pac's best friends and loves KRS-One, he even was backing him and there during the PM Dawn incident. Big Daddy Kane was friends with Pac too and worked together, and G Rap was friends with Pac too , so....
Jay mentioned Pac too.. along with KRS. Countless more examples, but basically... Knowledge Reigns Supreme.
Actually one of the things that stood out to me about Decoded was how much of a Hip Hop head Jay Z is, how much he loves Hip Hop. Is so clear and evident in that book, and it's a great book I'd recommend to anyone.

Haven't read the thread yet. I've been watching it linger on the front page for about a week. I like JayZ but I think KRS1 is just more for people like me. I guess it is a class thing.
