Pharrell made that beat for the Clipse and Pusha thought it sounded like Nas, so he sent it to him and he was like that he had the beat all to himself.

I did not like that Nas version the Clipse album and he my GOAT. One of his weakest verses and just didn’t fit the vibe of the record - felt very out of place.

Jay has never done a Clipse record - those joints with Pusha don’t count as “Clipse”.

I would’ve loved to hear Jay over M.T.B.T.T.F. Just felt like such a layup for him
