You obviously didn't understand any of those bars, it was about him considering Nas's attempt of kicking knowledge as not being knowledge. I.e. he's questing " is that knowledge?

". In a diss song contest or whatever.
But what does music have to do with what you say in interviews?
Many Jazz artists didn't say anything, didn't mean that they didn't have opinions about anything.
Just cause some people spit some "socially conscious" shyt doesn't mean that they are about it in real life and vice versa. Dudes are dead beats, drug addicts, out ballin and on but spend 2 hours in the studio making a "socially conscious" song for profit. It's entertainment.
Jay has been on the same shyt since 96, of course he wasn't holding fund raisers for presidents or funding protesters when he was 3 years outta the streets but as far as black enterprise, taking care of your family, not being dead beat dads and all that has been the same. Perhaps you are too young and missed the interviews and all the lines he was spitting.
And why do you feel that you have to give anyone credit? How hard is it to listen to an interview to hear the take from the person behind the music. Without giving credit...
