If you care about the prices, then you shouldn't be shopping at Barney's. You cant judge these prices based on its nuts for a regular dude, i doubt its particularly nuts for Barney's target audience.

As for the flop, ehhh i dont know what the expectation was for the first couple days during lunchtime. I think its too strong a statement.

I will say the only thing interesting about the whole article was the City Council holding a session about racial profiling involving Barney's, Macy's, NYPD, and this launch, and not one party bothering to send a mouthpiece to at least pretend like they cared.

Price and quality are not mutually exclusive. nikkas buy $150+ plus jeans that don't do crap some $50 Levi's can't do and are usually over designed (subjective IMO). Rather cop some U shaped brett favre wranglers for $150 cause you getting usable comfort.

Who said anything about price vs quality? Quality has nothing to do with this statement at all, just saying from a regular person perspective mostly EVERYTHING in the store is ridiculously priced. So harping on that as a main critique of the line is silly. If you are incensed by $3,000 hoodies, you aren't the target audience anyways.

As far as it goes, paying $150 for jeans is idiotic unless you caking off around the 200K per year range. They got $150 Wranglers? WOW!
