True what I learned when I bought a home is you really dont technically "own" it.. Even when you completely pay off the mortgage.. But what a home basically is, is a bank you can live in.. It gives you leverage..It gives you options.. Much more than $3,000 leather boxing trunks...Which I think was his point...
