I brush shoulders with well off folks and you wouldn't be able to tell they were wealthy just by looking at them. Most of them wear regular inexpensive clothes and drive medium range to older model cars, but will live in 800k to million dollar plus homes that will continue to appreciate in value. SMH. regardless of what he thinks justifies the price, the writer obviously has been and shopped at barney's, so i'm 1000% sure it's not the first time he's seen a collection and raised an eyebrow at the price. you don't go to barney's or bendels or saks to get a deal. you aren't going in there to see if you can stay within your budget. the people that do that shouldn't be there in the first place. barney's and all other stores like it appeal and retain a customer base that don't have spending limits. a few years ago i went in the Prada store and saw a pair of tights for $900! i couldn't believe anyone would pay a G for tights that cost $3. you know what though? it's in the store because they know exactly what they can charge for what.


first they were making it about injustice and racism and now they're outraged at price justification. wow, a liberal cac pseudo journalist, probably paying $3500+ for a 1.5 bedroom in NYC, pretending to be concerned about inflated clothing prices.....GTFO.

Why not go for a price people can afford? The market for high end price/low end quality clothes is huge, why not go into a different lane. This isn't like shoes where nikkas will pay through the roof for shyt. Hoodies, jeans, and tees are always gonna move more numbers at the $40-100 price range.
