Damn Nas and AZ never showing up to the studio. :sadbron:

I'm surprised people still haven't found out the sample Premier used for "Bring It On" yet. It makes me want to reflect on a life I never lived. :mjcry:

But hey, it all worked out in the end. RD is still a great album, Nas did his thing as did AZ. It would've been nice if they would've been on the album tho.
It's gotta be a joint from the 70's, just the feel and sound of that joint sounds like the 70's. I could hear the music playing in the score of a 70's movie. :wow:

Mannerisms of a young Bobby DeNiro, spent spanish wisdoms
in a whip with dinero, crime organized like the pharoah
I cream, I diamond gleam
High post like Akiem, got a lot of things to drop
Brooklyn to Queens, I gotta keep my steam
nikkaz wanna try to hem my long jeans
Uptown fiend for Jay-Z to appear on the scene
In the meanwhile, here's somethin dope for y'all to lean

Jay up there...but Biggie on LAD?

Uhh, I dream filthy
My moms and pops mixed me with Jamaican Rum and Whiskey
Huh, what a set up
Shoulda pushed 'em dead off, wipe the sweat off
'Cause in this world I'm dead off, squeeze lead off
Benz sped off, ain't no shook hands in Brook-land
Army fatigue break up teams, the enemies
Look man, you want to see me locked up, shot up
Moms crotched up over the casket, screamin b*stard!
Cryin, know my friends is lyin'
Y'all know who killed 'em, filled 'em with the Lugers from they Rugers
Or they Desert, dyin' ain't the shyt but it's pleasant
Kinda quiet, watch my nikkaz bring the riot
Giving cats the opposite of diets
You gain thirty pounds when you die no lie, lazy eye
I was high when they hit me, took a few cats with me
shyt, I need the company
Apologies in order, to T'Yanna my daughter
If it was up to me you would be with me, sorta like
Daddy dearest, my vision be the clearest
Silencers so you can't hear it
Competition still fear it, shyt don't ask me
I went from ashy to nasty to classy, and still

Maybe it's just me, but I feel people often skim over just how insane Meth's flow is. He's one of the few dudes in the Jay-Z/Biggie/Snoop league when it comes to his flows

He's top 3 flow-ers in Hip Hop history. Meth can embarrass an elite rapper on a track just by his flow alone. He was the rapper Big was always bigging up before Jay. Only rapper he got on his debut.

Mc lyte on EYES ON THIS.
ICE CUBE ON death certificate

wasnt even as good as this :heh:

i just joined this forum not long ago but from the few threads I've seen, you can tell a majority of the people that post here are in their early to mid 20s. From people thinking Illmatic was the first album with multiple producers, someone not knowing about "it's my thing" to the overall vibe of everyone thinking hip hop started in 1994 :russ:
