its like he completely shuts out people like he was back in the day...the only black folk you see him around are the upscale Huxtable era folks who have grandparents who went to college and deep history..he doesnt seem to show love to the rose in concrete much..i could be reaching.
I'm thinking he wants to be around people of his status or people that won't look for handouts. I think the sigel situation made him not want to deal with those issues anymore. Like he keeps his artists at arms length and don't treat them like family anymore. Jay seems to really learn from his missteps and never wants to repeat them again. It's not that he wants to deal with white folks he still with his people Emory and Ty Ty and Lenny S he just dont seem to want to be around the street element anymore. I understand because I'm in the army close to 16 years in from Brooklyn and you won't see me hang with the guys in the hood anymore because they doing the same shyt.
