It's a niche, it probably won't dethrone Spotify,especially with our a free option, but if it manages to find its own lane hell be good. Audiophiles might fukk with it heavy.

His plans might be to get the artists out of spotify. It's like Netflix, HBO GO,etc.
It's meant to be a Spotify competitor.
On top of if the "hi-def" audio, it appears that you can play music videos from the artist, which is kinda neat but I think I will stick with Spotify.
Wait nvm, i thought he was going with a higher price point, i was gonna argue that he was going for premium brand strategy but his shyt looks identical to spotify

$10 is the magic number for impulse buyers. People don't think when its that low. What exactly am I getting for $20 that I can't get for less with Google Play or Spotify?
This is a big deal. A lot of artists feel like Spotify doesn't pay them enough for their music. If tidal wave can get some exclusives it can be a viable alternative.
