You got to explain ya self daddeehNot a cohesive album at all. There are a few great tracks, the rest was mostly skips just like most jay albums.
Jay made some classic songs, no classic albums. Even RD has skippers on the last 3rd of the album.

@ Jay from 96-02. I haven't enjoyed listening to him for so long, sometimes I forget how good he was.You got to explain ya self daddeeh
I been good nikka, workin' for that money, ya feel me?how u been razassin
Thats the way he feels, its not suppose to be the way how we all feel thoOl wanna be different ass nikkas. Jay Z even said that wasn't one of his best albums. Other than Imaginary Players (which Jay Z said he regret not being his first single) that album is mediocre as hell.

For me, his top 3 is RD, Blueprint & Vol.1 I always though he sounded his best on Vol.1 though. Just seemed really comfortable. I still feel jacking Young Chris' flow was the worst thing that ever happened to him. He sounded much better prior to that.

Didn't he record "You're Only A Customer" around this era too????? Wish that woulda made the album. One of my fav Jay songs "graphic like Sega Saturn"
