So what's so suspect about this lawyer?
He's based in Houston, which isn't some hillbilly city obviously, but he basically solicited these accusers, by saying if Puff assaulted you, hit me up. He had nothing to do with the case, not even based in a city where the events would have taken place, and its's basically how lawyers like him operate. Insert themselves into high profile cases and try to get some crumbs.
Granted, there's a certain amount of that in most lawyers, but he's not with highly respected credible law firms. Williams And Connelly. Skadden ARPS.
Lastly, the resources at his disposal to investigate the claims. What would those be? Some investigator paid by his firm? One dude working alone. Travels to NYC 20 years after the fact to do what? It's not that I don't believe lawsuits are often accurate, but you have to look at the details, and the credibility. Filing a frivolous lawsuit in Southern District of Manhattan, will get tossed the fukk out.
Why add Jay to the lawsuit? Because Puff is going to be finished with this is al over and Jay won't. Also, I think a lot of celebs, esp male rappers have done some grimy shyt. Alcohol, drugs, parties. Things happened. Most of my boys have too. But raping a minor? If you notice that's one of those things that has now become like the one accusation that's hard to spin or defend.
