Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, and Kyle Kuzma would all have better careers than Ben Simmons in my opinion :hubie:

Mitchell and Kuzma are killers. They aren't gonna stop, and they put in the work. Mitchell was back in the gym a few days after getting bounced from the playoffs. Meanwhile Simmons is out here traveling the country/world with a Jenner/Kardashian who has no basic concept of work. She'll keep demanding more and more of his time. Meanwhile his peers are working.

Exactly, 100% agree. Kuzma and Mitchell work relentlessly getting better

2 reasons why I think Ben Simmons won't be a great people think he would be, you can agree or disagree

1. He doesn't seem focused or have that Killer instinct. Ironically, he reminds me ALOT of Wilt Chamberlain. But Wilt was a freak athlete and extremely talented, so he could sometimes get away with it

2. He simply doesn't have basketball instincts. He thinks he can out muscle, out athletic, or just tower over people to score as a point forward.... until he sees true competition. He has the basketball IQ of a grape

Yea he's a great athlete and can do some amazing things but he hits a wall in important games because of that lack of bball IQ...and because he can't shoot lmao. That's not gonna be a thing where you work hard one summer and bam, you can shoot now. He's gotta put in a lot of work and I just don't think he's the type.

We could be wrong of course. I'd love to hear what Bron thinks about his game/personality. Bron was in a somewhat similar position at one point and he clearly put in the work to improve his game. I wonder if he sees that fire in Simmons, compared to Tatum who showed no fear against the Cavs in the playoffs and displayed a lot of skill.

Bingo, thats shyt I'm thinking too. Would have the work ethic to become a better shooter? You need ALOT of work ethic to change and improve your shooting. And the funny thing is Lebron was never as bad a shooter as Ben. So Ben gotta work even harder than Lebron did lol
